Prior Park in Bath has one of the most stunning views I have ever photographed . Such a treat for me as a photographer but also for the couple and guests to enjoy :) Beyond the views you can truly make your wedding day unique to you .

You have the option of having licensed ceremonies at the Lady of the Snows Chapel , perfect for Roman Catholic weddings. The Chapel was built in 19th century and is absolutely stunning with tall ceilings and lots of light . Alternatively you can choose the John Wood Chapel , Mansion reception , the Academy Hall , Bishops library or outdoor ceremony on the covered Portico overlooking Bath . The choice is yours .

The Mansion Hall is great for drinks receptions, while the Academy Hall offers not just fantastic views over Bath but can accommodate up to 120 guests.

The Dining Hall, seating up to 150 people, provides a classic setting for banquets or dancing.

Carly and Simon got married in December on New Years Eve at Beautiful Lady of the Snows Chapel . In the morning they got ready in Bath City centre, just a short 5-minute walk away, giving us the chance to capture some special moments before the wedding. We then drove to Prior Park Bath . After the ceremony we all walked to the Main house for the reception drinks .Despite the cold and rainy weather, their day was incredible. We managed to capture group shots and a few couple portraits between gusts of wind and rain. My best advice for couples is to keep an open mind and enjoy the day, whatever the weather and have a plan for a rainy day :) I particularly loved Carly and Simon's wedding style, which featured a disco vibe with references to 1920s Hollywood glamour. Their idea of having an old phone where guests could leave messages for the couple was a hit :) and now for the exciting bit how Carly and Simon planned their unforgettable wedding at Prior Park in Bath followed by the images from their wonderful wedding Enjoy! :)

New Year's Eve Winter Wedding at Prior Park in Bath inspired by Hollywood & Disco Vibe | Carly & Simon

What was the most memorable moment from your wedding day ?

1. Sitting in the beautiful Lady of the Snows Chapel during your ceremony with the mood lighting and the sky darkening gave such an incredible atmosphere. 2. Confetti moment, walking through and seeing all of our friends and family and the most beautiful photos being captured by Oxana. 3. It’s also worth mentioning the torrential downpour just as we started our descent down the grand steps of the mansion hall and into the marquee for our entrance. This moment definitely provided some of the most humorous photos of the day!

What did you love about location you got married ?

The grandeur of Prior Park, it complimented our theme of Hollywood glamour so perfectly. As it was a New Years Eve wedding it was particularly incredible to have the view of the midnight fireworks across Bath. The venue definitely had the WOW factor for our guests.

Any tips, recommendations for newly engaged couples when organising wedding ?

Enjoy the process! Don’t be afraid to DIY elements, you’d be amazed what you can make work.

What would you do differently when organising your wedding ?

Not feeling what turned out to be unnecessary stress during the lead-up to the wedding - everything will be just perfect on the day no matter what!

What was the most hardest or challenging when organising your wedding ?

Trying to DIY aspects of the wedding when both working full-time, demanding jobs. Having said that, the set up day the day before the wedding was such fun - it was a special moment of our families coming together to help in any way they could.

What apps /tools you used to organise wedding ? Was it helpful?

We used ‘Joy’ for our wedding website and guest list administration. It was really helpful!

It was the most INCREDIBLE day and all of our wedding vendors went above and beyond - a massive thank you to Oxana for being the most amazing photographer - all of our guests have commented on how beautiful the photos are and she was so patient and calm, despite the weather not being on our side!
