What was the most memorable moment from your wedding day ?

Standing together for the ceremony itself - that was a happy moment! It was really sunny and we were surrounded by flowers at the pagoda. It felt very special and was the most important part of the day.

What did you love about location you got married ?

It was beautiful countryside at the Watermill at Priston Mill. It allowed us to have the ceremony outside in the gardens at the pagoda. There was also a playpark with a zipwire which everyone enjoyed!

Any tips, recommendations for newly engaged couples when organising wedding ?

Start planning as early as possible, dates for venues get booked up quickly. Get a wedding planner notebook so you can keep track of everything. Do a couple of things on your wedding task list each month.

What would you do differently when organising your wedding ?

Nothing especially - perhaps we might have found somewhere to stay closer to the venue, but practically that didn't work out for us!

What was the most hardest or challenging when organising your wedding ?

Co-ordinating bridesmaids and groomsmen that live far apart in terms of alterations for outfits. The final preparations the night before were tiring too!

What apps /tools you used to organise wedding ? Was it helpful?

We used Hitched to set up a wedding website and provide information to guests as well as to get RSVPs. We'd recommend this although potentially there are better websites out there!

Anything else you would like to share :)

We used Etsy for lots of bits and pieces for our wedding. We'd definitely recommend doing this! For example, we found a special ornamental set of chairs and a table to set up as a memorial for loved ones who had passed away and couldn't share the day. This was important to lots of our families.
