Pensford is a village located in the Chew Valley area of Bristol, England. It is situated on the River Chew, approximately 8 miles south of Bristol city centre and is known for its picturesque setting and historic buildings. One of my favourite feature of this location is a bridge and authentic English village and beautiful countryside.
Pensford Bridge is a historic bridge that spans the River Chew in Pensford village, Bristol. The bridge dates back to the 17th century and is a Grade II* listed structure.
The bridge has three arches and is made of local limestone. It was built in 1670 by James Bridges, a local stonemason who also built the nearby Pensford Viaduct. The bridge was an important crossing point over the River Chew for many years, providing a link between Pensford and nearby villages. it offers stunning views of the River Chew and the surrounding countryside.
A few years ago just by chance I found this beautiful village Pensford and I kept it in mind for a couple photosession . Finally It happened . David and Zijian liked this location as well and we decided to have engagement shoot here. We met in the authentic local pub The Rising Sun . Had coffee and a chat before the photosession. We walked to the bridge , listen to the music and created these amazing memories .
Important to know : Parking at Rising Sun pub is limited but you can find on street parking across the road . After the rain fields are muddy so need to have walking boots . The village is small but sometimes can be busy with visitors and walkers so it might be difficult to find privet area but we were lucky with David and Zijian . Weather was pretty grey and we met at around 4 pm on sunday and it was pretty quiet not many people around but thats something to keep in mind :) , Oxana x
