LGBTQ+ Wedding Photographer in Bath

Natural, relaxed photography that lets you enjoy your day

Hi, I’m Oxana — a wedding photographer based in Bath.

If you’re planning your wedding here, you’re probably looking for someone who feels easy to be around. Someone who listens, understands what matters to you, and quietly takes care of things so you can enjoy your day.

That’s exactly how I work.

Getting to know you first

I really enjoy getting to know you and understanding what kind of day you want to have.

Not just the timings or logistics, but how you want it to feel.

Some couples want something very relaxed and simple.

Some want a bit more structure and guidance.

Once I understand that, I’ll help you build a simple timeline around it — so nothing feels rushed and you have time to enjoy your day properly.

You don’t need to figure everything out on your own. I’ll guide you through it and keep things easy.

Feeling comfortable in front of the camera

Most couples tell me they feel a bit awkward about being photographed.

That’s completely normal.

You don’t need to know what to do. I’ll guide you gently when needed, but most of the time I’ll just let things happen naturally.

It usually takes a few minutes to relax — and after that, it just feels like your day.

Your wedding day — simple and flowing

Weddings in Bath often work best when they’re kept simple.

Whether you’re getting married at Bath Guildhall or at a countryside venue nearby, a relaxed flow makes a big difference.

A typical day might look like:

  • Ceremony
  • A few group photos
  • Couple portraits
  • Drinks reception and time with your guests

Nothing overcomplicated. Just a day that moves naturally.

How much time you actually need for photos

You don’t need hours away from your guests.

  • Group photos: around 15–20 minutes
  • Couple photos: around 20–30 minutes

That’s usually enough to create something really beautiful, without interrupting your day.

The rest of the time, I’m capturing everything as it happens — your friends, your family, the atmosphere.

What I focus on

I’m there to support you, not take over.

I’ll help if something needs organising, and I’ll step back when everything is already flowing.

Most of what I capture are the moments in between — people talking, laughing, hugging, enjoying the day together.

Alongside that, we’ll create a few natural portraits of you both and some relaxed group photos.

LGBTQ+ weddings

Every couple is different.

I don’t follow a set way of doing things or assume how your day should look. I listen, understand what matters to you, and work around that.

The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and able to be yourselves.

If this feels like the right fit

If you’re planning your wedding in Bath or nearby and want photography that feels natural, calm, and easy — I’d love to hear from you.

You can get in touch and tell me a bit about your plans, and we’ll take it from there.
